Paradise Bay

The bay is found at the very north of Malta, very close to the Gozo Channel Ferry. The beach is perhaps one of the smallest in Malta yet at the same time definitely one of Malta’s best beaches, thus the name Paradise Bay.

Given both mine and Daniel’s work responsibilities we visited the bay on a Sunday morning, arriving at the beach at around 11am, the bay was already bustling with life: children playing, people swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and other’s enjoying themselves and relaxing in the comfortable lido the bay has. In two hours time there was literally not much space left on the sand, however swimming was not a problem since there was ample space.

This is definitely one of our favourite beaches to visit in Malta given the clear blue water and clean sand. Paradise Bay is yet another beach with a large amount of stairs however this flight of stairs is quite enjoyable since it is very well kept, it is not too steep and is surrounded by small cultivated fields in valley.

Paradise bay is also home to one of Malta’s biggest beach parties: Love Sexy, held each year around end of May featuring top local DJs as well as foreign dj’s.
